Nope i never saw Randy I didn't think he would. yeah so this week was ok but hey its not everyday you get to be sick on Maui. I feel so much better today but again I felt really loved yesterday like 1/2 the ward texted us to see if they could bring me stuff. some even brought me oils.

Aloha mama. Yeah so transfers are next Wednesday which means I will probably find out where I am going Saturday night. I am extremly sad that my time here is most likely coming to an end. On the other hand I have been here for a really long time and it would be nice to have a new adventure. The only thing I am scared about is I just know when I get transferred my mission is going to be gone. When you get to a new area time just flies because your so busy trying to take everything in. I guess whatever happens happens. This week was really cool at the beginning of the week Elder Schnell and I set a goal of 100 QGC ( quality gospel conversations ) and 5 new investigators all in one week and we managed to hit those goals it was hard to motivate my companion to work that hard ( he's trunky) still a really good missionary tho we have been companions for almost 4 1/2 months he is probably one of my favorites. This week as also a little bit out of the norm because we weren't living at our house we moved into our ward mission leaders house for the week because a swarm of 7000 honey bees decided to move into our attic. Haha I know kind of crazy. So Ryan the bee guy came on Saturday to relocate the bees, also elder Schnell helped him because he used to bee keep back at home. I on the other had was far far away from that mess I'm not a big bee fan they don't seem to like me. I will send as many pictures as I have. We are still living with our ward mission leader as of right now but we will probably move in tomorrow or tonight. It's been awesome living with them they have the mattress in the world. I have actually got real rest this week. So yesterday Other than that my ukulele is broke so I am trying to find a really good one on Maui before I leave. Anyway hope you have a great week love you!

I got transferred!! I am now on the BIG Island of Hawaii. Im actually covering two wards they are called the Keaau and the Ka'u ward my area is bigger then the island of Oahu also I will live with 4 elders in from what I hear a pretty big pad but the best part of my area is that I get to drive one of the 6 trucks in the mission!
Yesterday was super hard on your last Sunday in Pukalani ward they have you come and say your good bye at the pulpit ( I cried ) then after the closing prayer they sing to you its called "aloha oe" ( I cried ) we sing it all the time to all the missionary's going home. but the Pukalani ward sings it to every missionary that leaves the ward. I got so many lei's it was awesome one of the members told me that that is the most lei's he has ever seen a missionary get and that i must be a favorite or something i felt really loved not to mention the 50 texts ( I cried ) we got.
This is me and Elder Schnell he has been a great companion. I will miss him.

Hey so I just got on I am so sorry but I have forgotten my memory card reader at home so I cant send pictures this week. I the bright side Big island its exactly that BIG. also here on the Hilo side it rains like all the time. but its really cool my area is made up of a bunch of virgin land the streets are crazy. they have huge grids and the long roads are numbered fore example the first street would be 1 st the second would be 2 st and it goes until like 42 st then the cross roads are letters like A B C haha so people will literally say "oh I live on the corner of 24 street and G street haha pretty confusing. so alot of the people in the ward live off grid which means they have a house and they use either a generator or solar panels for power. and for water they use Catchment which is basically and giant swimming pool that collects water when it rains. we also live off of catchment which I think is really cool you can drink the catchment water unless you buy a big filter. so that means we go fill up big water containers (the bug blue clear ones that they have in offices mostly) at these spickets with clean water that comes right out of a spring. My Companion Elder Hardy is from... yep you guessed it Utah! he is from a little town out side of Manti called spring city. he is only 18 and has been out for 7 months. its so awesome to have a younger companion then me this is only my 2nd one. plus I love it when the ward asks us how long we have been out and they ask him and he says 7 and then they ask me and I say 17 haha its always a good laugh. he is really good tho I don't have to drag him around. he knows when its time to plan and when its time to work. i am really excited about the last leg on my mission I see a lot of potential in this ward.
so our house potential really dirty not good but just give me a few weeks and it will be awesome, its pretty big and yes we share it with another companionship. the ward is good so far not like Pukalani for sure. but I see lots of potential with the people we teach.
Thats just Kea'au ward I haven't even been to Ka'u yet

We got to go to the Kona Temple. Also I got to go fishing, it's not against the rules as long as I don't touch the sand, so I stayed on the rocks. I caught this little tiny fish called and Umu. My companion is awesome, we are like the same person.

It was great Skyping with you yesterday!! So in about ten days I hit my 18 month mark which is pretty crazy to me. it does not feel like i have been serving that long but at the same time it does. I'm trying really hard not to think about home but its impossible. I am really excited to see everyone again and I am scared because of all the choices I have to make when I get home. At the same time I am pretty ready to make all of those choices I have had some time to think about them. So right now I am just trying to finish strong and do all I can to stay focused. I am super blessed to be serving on yet another island. I really really like my new companion he is working me hard which helps me stay focused. His name is Elder Hardy he is from Spring City Utah and is the oldest of 3. he enjoys running which will be good for my weight loss plan. We actually have a lot in common the only thing I don't like about him is that he gets more mail then me :( haha. My favorite part about being an old missionary is the respect ward member and missionary's give you. I can see the change in my self and I know that change could have only come through hard work and being on a mission. I'm not sure what else I should write so I will just leave it at that.

Thanks for mailing back my memory card, unfortunately someone stole it out of the envelop. So if you could give me money for a new one that would be awesome! I am so Broke there are too many cool things I have to buy before I go home. I think they are like 20$. My week was good I was sick on Friday but I think it was my body having withdrawals because I gave up soda 3 weeks ago so I can lose weight and beat dad.(they are both trying to lose 30 lbs before he gets home) and because I have only been eating really small amounts at breakfast and lunch so again I can lose weight. We were going to have a baptism on Saturday but our investigator relapsed on his smoking so we will try for next month sometime but I know he will get baptized before I leave.
